Terms governing use of the Mzansibet guide
Words in these terms carry the meanings fixed in the first section and are used in that sense throughout. Reading any page of the guide means that the terms are accepted; a reader who does not accept them should leave the site.
Defined terms
- “The Guide” means all pages published on this site about Mzansibet for readers in South Africa, together with their tables, metadata and downloadable text.
- “The Operator” means the company that runs the Mzansibet betting service. It is a separate business with no part in producing the Guide.
- “The Editors” means the people who write, check and correct the Guide, reachable only at [email protected].
- “Operator Terms” means the conditions the Operator publishes for its own customers, including bonus, payment and verification rules.
- “Figure” means any amount, percentage, multiplier, period or count stated on a page, always expressed in rand where money is concerned.
- “Reader” means any person who opens the Guide.
Reader duties
A Reader must be 18 or older. A Reader is responsible for confirming that betting is lawful for them and for keeping their own use of any betting service within their means.
A Reader may read the Guide, print a page for private use and quote a short passage with the name of the Guide beside it. Reproducing a whole page, collecting Figures in bulk, scraping the site or feeding its text into automated systems needs written permission from the Editors. A Reader must not interfere with the operation of the site or try to reach areas that are not public.
A Reader who writes to the Editors confirms that the message is their own and must send only their own information, and must leave out identity numbers, banking details and passwords. Messages are used to correct the Guide and are handled as the privacy policy describes.
Limits of reliance
The Guide is general information. It is neither financial, legal nor tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to open an account or place a bet.
Every Figure was checked on the review date of its page. Operators revise caps, multipliers, payment routes and time limits without telling the Editors, so a Figure may be out of date by the time it is read. Before depositing, the Reader should compare the Figure with the Operator Terms, which prevail wherever they differ from the Guide.
The Editors take care but give no warranty that any page is complete, current or free of error. As far as South African law permits, the Editors accept no liability for loss that follows from relying on a Figure, from a change in Operator Terms, from a page being withdrawn or changed, or from the conduct of a third party. Liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, is not excluded.
Third parties
The Guide may link to the Operator and to other organisations. A link points to material the Editors do not run or verify, and it signals no endorsement. Anything agreed after following a link is agreed with that third party alone.
Offers described in the Guide belong to the Operator. The Editors cannot grant, withhold or change them, and cannot promise that an account will be accepted or that a payout will arrive by a given date.
Names, logos and game titles shown on the site belong to their owners and appear only to identify the subject of a page. The wording, tables and layout of the Guide belong to the Editors.
Changes to these terms and to access
The Editors may amend these terms by publishing a new text on this page, and may change, withdraw or suspend any page without notice. Using the site after an amendment means accepting the amended text. Access may be refused to a Reader who breaks these terms.
If a court finds any provision unenforceable, the other provisions remain in force to the extent the law allows.
Notices
Notices from the Editors are given by publishing them on the relevant page or on this one. A Reader may give notice or ask a question about these terms at the editorial address.
Governing law
The terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without reducing rights that a Reader holds as a consumer under mandatory law.
